Summary
This PR adds support for the
CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIRenvironment variable, allowing users to customizethe Claude configuration directory location.
Motivation
CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIRcan change the configuration directory, andsome users (including myself) are already using this setting.
above, the default configuration directory may have changed from
~/.claude/ide/to~/.config/claude/ide/.~/.claudeappear to contradict actual CLI app behavior anthropics/claude-code#2277Note
Due to issues with my personal nix environment, I was unable to run tests locally.
